Mélanie is the founder of SoScience and is a recognized expert at European level in responsible innovation policies and programs to facilitate science with and for society. She advises public research organizations and major industrials on new innovation practices serving the common good. Her commitment to the dissemination and implementation of responsible research and innovation has earned her numerous international recognitions: she is Echoing Green Fellow (2017), Ashoka Fellow (2018) and won the Grinnell College Innovator for Social Justice Prize (2018). She published her first book on the subject in 2017. Mélanie is an ESPCI engineer specialized in wave physics and neuroscience.
A former business lawyer, Julie worked in finance for the media industry before becoming an entrepreneur. She has created several companies in the media sector and has become an expert in digital transformation and innovation. She also co-founded a microfinance institution in Cameroon. Interested in impact investing, she decided to combine her expertise to help organizations transform their business model, learn new ways of working and think about sustainable innovation. Julie is also involved in several non-profit organizations in the field of female entrepreneurship and inclusion. She is a trainer, mentor, volunteer and business angel.
Sophie is a graduate of the ESPCI engineering school and began her career as an innovation management and financing consultant. For 10 years, she assisted companies of all sizes in putting together their funding applications and optimising their R&D processes. She then joined a large engineering group to build its Innovation Department, implement processes and co-create future R&D projects to be developed in the Labs.
Passionate about open innovation and aware of the societal and environmental issues associated with R&D, Sophie chose to join Soscience as Head of TFO Programmes in order to take concrete action for Responsible Research and Innovation. She is in charge of The Future Of programmes, their design, implementation, dissemination, monitoring and continuous improvement.
Graduated in history and science studies from the Sorbonne and the CNAM, Roxane has contributed to the definition of Responsible Research and Innovation over the past four years at SoScience. She is in charge of developing, organizing and sharing SoScience expertise internally and externally with our clients and partners, organizing and leading thematic events and training, representing SoScience at conferences.
After her engineering studies, Lucie started her career abroad in R&D departments of different structures, from research institutes to start-ups. Through her professional experiences and personal convictions, she became interested in science at the service of society and joined SoScience in January 2022. She is in charge of The Future Of programs from their conception to their follow-up.
