Founder of SoScience, Writer, Expert for the European Commission
Mélanie is the founder of SoScience and is a recognized expert at European level in responsible innovation policies and programs to facilitate science with and for society. She advises public research organizations and major industrialists on new innovation practices serving the common good. Her commitment to the dissemination and implementation of responsible research and innovation has earned her numerous international recognitions: she is Echoing Green Fellow (2017), Ashoka Fellow (2018) and won the Grinnell College Innovator for Social Justice Prize (2018). She published her first book on the subject in 2017. Mélanie is an ESPCI engineer specializing in wave physics and neuroscience.
A former business lawyer, Julie worked in finance for the media industry before becoming an entrepreneur. She has created several companies in the media sector and has become an expert in digital transformation and innovation. She also co-founded a microfinance institution in Cameroon. Interested in impact investing, she decided to combine her expertise to help organizations transform their business model, learn new ways of working and think about sustainable innovation. Julie is also involved in several non-profit organizations in the field of female entrepreneurship and inclusion. She is a trainer, mentor, volunteer and business angel.
DIRECTOR OF THE FUTURE OF PROGRAMS
An engineer by training, Yoann first worked in strategy and project management, always from the perspective of co-construction. After 3 years, he left his firm to get closer to the world of social and environmental impact: he met and worked with several players in different fields before joining SoScience in February 2019, convinced of the need to bring the world of science closer together. and that of societal impact. At SoScience, Yoann is in charge of The Future Of programs, their design and implementation, their dissemination, monitoring and continuous improvement.
Graduated in history and science studies from the Sorbonne and the CNAM, Roxane has contributed to the definition of Responsible Research and Innovation over the past four years at SoScience. She is in charge of developing, organizing and sharing SoScience expertise internally and externally with our clients and partners, organizing and leading thematic events and training, representing SoScience at conferences.
After completing a Bachelor specializing in hotels and luxury brands, Margaux wanted to add strings to her bow by integrating into a Master at EFAP and specializing in Digital Marketing & Business. In recent months, she has been increasingly interested in technological innovations in favor of ecology. She joined SoScience for her end-of-study internship.
THE FUTURE OF programs manager
After obtaining a B.A. in African Studies in Canada, Aurélie decides to continue her studies in the field of International Development. She has a Master in International Relations and is currently in Master Manager of Humanitarian & Development Projects. Anxious to actively participate in the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals, she is particularly interested in the role that Research and Science can play in them. She joined SoScience for her end-of-studies internship.
