our current programs
THE FUTURE OF energy for mobility
In partnership with Plastic Omnium, this program seeks innovative solutions for ground transportation and relevant infrastructure, that are greener, safer, sustainable (considering the entire Life cycle), and adapted for all (in all parts of the world and for all users according to their different needs).
THE FUTURE OF urban waters
In partnership with PSL University, this programme aims to develop new solutions for sustainable water management in urban environments. How to adapt uses, better value and share water resources and by-products, in a systemic approach integrating environmental emergency?
THE FUTURE OF Eco-Designed Vehicles
In partnership with Plastic Omnium, this program aims to create multi-actor consortia to develop new modular solutions for the eco-design of vehicles. How do we double the average lifespan of vehicles while reducing their environmental impact and maintaining their value through a modular and upgradable design?
THE FUTURE OF SUSTAINABLE BIOMASS VALORISATION
In partnership with the French National Research Institute for Sustainable Development (IRD), and the French Embassy in Tunisia, this program aims to create multi-actor consortia with field actors around the valorization of biomass. How can we co-construct sustainable socio-economic activities regarding plant biomass valorization that raise public awareness and provide work opportunities, in particular for local youth, through low-tech solutions?
THE FUTURE OF ONE HEALTH
In partnership with the French National Research Institute for Sustainable Development (IRD), this program aims to develop solutions with a one health approach in order to strengthen and improve the preparation, response, and surveillance of epidemics from the phase of emergence. These solutions are intended to be implemented in the field and must therefore take into account the different local contexts and the actors in the field.
THE FUTURE OF textiles & footwear recycling
In partnership with Refashion, this program aims to identify and implement the best solutions to enable the industrialization of the recycling process for unused TLCs and the relocation of this activity within the territories (in France and in Europe). This requires the development of technologies to sort, dismantle and eject materials on an automated line.

THE FUTURE OF plastic waste
In partnership with the government of Seychelles, the French Research Institute for Development (IRD) and the Société des Explorations de Monaco, this program aims to identify and implement the best solutions to local challenges and the context of Seychelles on the issue. plastic waste. The actors brought together and the projects selected focus particularly on the collection and processing of plastic.

THE FUTURE OF URBAN AGRICULTURE
In partnership with the French National Research Institute for Sustainable Development (IRD), this program aims to promote the emergence of research collaborations between IRD researchers and civil society actors in the field (NGOs, companies, social entrepreneurs) on the question of urban agriculture with a strong territorial anchoring in the so-called countries of the South. 38 participants representing 14 countries gathered around the following issue: “What solutions and services can be developed with urban farmers to feed the local population while contributing to a sustainable city?”

PROGRAMME Européen MOSAIC (2021-2023)
The European project MOSAIC (Mission-oriented #Swafs to Advance Innovation through Cocreation) aims to develop pilots combining co-creation, cutting-edge research and societal impact on given territories. These pilots will be used as support for European public policies for the implementation of future innovation programs.
SoScience contributes to the creation of pilots, by using and sharing its expertise around our open innovation methodology “The Future Of”.

THE FUTURE OF positive packaging
In partnership with the Perrier brand of the Nestlé Waters group, this program aims to expand efforts beyond the development of 100% recycled and recyclable packaging to support innovators and develop solutions that reinvent packaging from source to end of life, with the potential to have a positive environmental and social impact
